Wastewater Services

BFU’s licensed operators handle the management and maintenance of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, including pipes, pumps, treatment plants, and other facilities.
Wastewater Collection
BFU collects wastewater from residential, commercial, and industrial customers through a network of pipes and pumping stations. We also offer sewer main installation and repair services.
Wastewater Treatment
Our plants treat the collected wastewater to remove contaminants and pollutants, using processes such as screening, settling, biological treatment, and disinfection, to produce treated effluent that meets regulatory standards for discharge or reuse.
Pretreatment
We help commercial and industrial customers implement pretreatment measures to remove or reduce pollutants in their wastewater before discharge to the public sewer system in order to protect the wastewater treatment plant and comply with regulatory standards.
Regulatory Compliance
BFU complies with local, state, and federal regulations and permits related to wastewater management, such as discharge permits, bio-solids management, and environmental monitoring.
Emergency Response
We have plans and procedures in place to respond to emergencies such as sewer backups, treatment plant failures, and natural disasters.
